The short version: we collect as little as possible, sell nothing, and keep your birth details yours.

This policy explains what we collect, why, and the control you have. It's written to be read, not to hide behind legalese.

In short

We use your birth details to calculate your chart, we don't track or advertise to you, and we never sell your data.

### What we collect

The birth details you enter -- date, time, and place -- to calculate your chart, and basic, anonymized usage data to keep the site working.

### On your device

Some details may be stored in your browser so you don't have to re-enter them. You can clear this at any time.

### Geocoding

We convert your birth city into coordinates and a time zone using a geocoding service. Only the place name is sent, nothing more.

### Current location

If you choose 'Use my location,' your browser shares one-time coordinates with MeriRashi to calculate local Panchang timings and directly with BigDataCloud to identify the city. MeriRashi does not store the coordinates or city label. You can deny permission and choose a city manually instead.

### Selling data

We never sell, rent, or trade your information. There are no data brokers and no advertising networks involved.

## Your rights

You can request access to or deletion of any data we hold. Because we collect so little, there's usually very little to delete.
